治好惡劣的水源

       那城的人對以利沙說: " 請看這城的地勢很好，老師你也看見，可惜水惡劣，以致此地沒有出產。"

       以利沙說 : "給我拿一個新碗來，裡面要盛點鹽。" 他們就把碗拿給他。

       他就出去到水源那裏，把鹽倒在那裡，然後說: " 耶和華這樣說: ' 我已經醫好了這水，從此不再如以有人死亡，地也不再沒有出產了。' "那水果然治好了，直到今日，正利沙所說的話。

Healing of the Water

      The people of the city said to Elisha, " Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad, and the land is unproductive."

      "Bring me a new bowl," he said, "and put salt in it." So they brought it to him.

      Then they went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, "This is what the LORD says: ' I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive." And the water has remained pure to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.

神說："在天上穹蒼中，要有光體來分晝夜；這些光體要作為記號，定節令、日子和年歲；它們要在天上穹蒼中發光，照耀地上！事就這樣成了。於是，  神造了兩個大光體，大的管晝，小的管夜；又造了星星。  神把這些光體安放在天上穹蒼中，照耀地上，管晝夜，分光暗。  神看這是好的。有晚上，有早晨； 這是第四日。 And God said, "Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. God made two great lights -- the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And god saw that it was good.
